Answerwest was founded in 1988 by Cherie Humphreys, a former marketing representative for a large telecom company, and president at the time of Advanced Communications Marketing. As a user of an answering service, she became frustrated with the limited choices offered and options available in the answering service/contact center marketplace.
With a background in telecommunications and customer service, she began the research that would lead to the fundraising that launched Answerwest, Inc in 1988, with only ten clients, four customer service agents, and the best telecommunications technology she could find. As her reputation for providing high-quality, innovative solutions grew, so did Answerwest.
Using one of the first paperless systems in the region, Answerwest was soon providing clients with a full range of customized inbound and outbound call-center solutions. Over the years, Answerwest has received countless awards for its technology, innovations, and service with a smile…every time.
As the company continues to grow to meet the needs of our customers, we continue to be extremely selective in our hiring practices. In fact, Answerwest employs a number of agents who have been with the company since its inception more than 20 years ago.
